I’ve been wondering when there’s going to be a good new Star Trek series for quite some time now. After Star Trek: Voyager, which I really liked, came Star Trek: Enterprise, which was a bit of a letdown me for me because I felt they went back in time too much.
There’s a new Star Trek series premiering on CBS in January 2017. But until that time, there’s the upcoming movie Star Trek Beyond, and many Star Trek fan productions to watch.
One of those is the fan movie Star Trek: Renegades, which features several characters from the commercially produced Star Trek series, played by the original actors. Renegades is largely funded through crowdsourcing, and they’ve already released Episode 1, which you can find below. There are two more on the way, and they would appreciate your support.
